Pyrography 

My newest passion has been pyrography, aka wood burnings. This has become a very special medium for me. The time and effort really shows in the details. For example, for any dark or black spaces, I have to think about every stroke I lay down. If I'm sloppy, it'll show in the texture. If I'm intentional, the result is striking and tactile in a way no other medium is.
