Packaging design
The Soft Claws rebrand project was a large undertaking that I designed from start to finish. I didn't just create artwork, but crafted
the packaging from the ground-up, collaborating with marketing, manufacturing & assembly to create the best design possible!

GOALS OF THE PROJECT • Redesign & modernize the Soft Claws logo while keeping attributes that will help maintain brand recognition • Create new packaging to cut approximately 80% of the original packaging's plastic use (original packaging was a clamshell) • Package design must be able to be printed in-house (meaning certain size limitations, and minimal adhesion to aid in assembly speed) • Package must allow for 2 different tube sizes: 1 for cats, 1 for dogs (special die cuts for windows) while maintaining same box dimensions • The package must hold up in the mail. Many of our distributors use polymailers for shipping, meaning heavy damage can incur in transit. The package must be designed to maintain its shape and keep its contents safe inside. • Create package artwork along with branded iconography, print collateral and digital content for online retail |
